Panasonic D-Snap SV-AS30
Panasonic (Matsushita) announces a new thin digital camera. The Panasonic D-Snap SV-AS30 is a 3.2 Mega-pixel camera that is only 9.9mm thin (thinnest point, 14mm max.).
The SV-AS30 can record MPEG4 video with 30 frames/sec. The new D-Snap can play also AAC/WMA/MP3 music with a play-time of 36 hours. The SV-AS30 measures 53.2x103x14mm and weighs 58.5g.
The DSnap SV-AS30 has an HDTV 16:9 image resolution mode (1920x1080) meant for photo viewing on HDTV Televisions. Panasonic says the D-Snap SV-AS30 can also be used to watch MPEG video recorded on a SD-Card while traveling.
The Panasonic SV-AS30 will go on sale in Japan October 30th. The SV-AS30 follows the SV-AS10 model currently on the market.
The SV-AS30 comes in black, brown and silver. No pricing information available.
