New Panasonic Lumix DMC-FX8 5MP Digital Camera

Panasonic announces in Japan a new Lumix series digital camera model.

The Lumix DMC-FX8 is the follow-up model to the Lumix DMC-FX7. The FX8 is a bit slimmer than the FX7 and features a gyroscopic image stabilizer. The battery life also got extended. The Lumix DMC-FX8 is also pretty quick with a 0.008s shutter release time lag. The new Lumix features a 2.5 inch screen like the DMC-FX7. Measurements are 94.1 x 50.5 x 24.2mm and weight is 155g. The DMC-FX8 is available in Black, Silver, Blue and Pink. Panasonic starts to sell the Lumix DMC-FX8 beginning of June. Price is not set yet.
