Casio's New EX-Z700

The Exilim line from Casio has a new addition with the EX-Z700, a super compact 7-megapixel camera that, for all intents and purposes, is the successor to the 6-MP EX-Z600. Aside from upping the picture resolution, the Z700 adds a couple new features to its "Best Shot" mode, including one that lets you take a couple different pictures and it will then compose a new picture from those.

Also like its sister, the 700 has a 3x optical zoom and a 2.7-inch LCD. There's really nothing too special here, just what you'd expect from a new model to the already-popular Exilim brand.


The Z700 will be launching some time in August, though we don't know exactly what price range it will be (you can make an educated guess by looking at the other prices of Casio's other Exilims).
