The New Nikon D80
Only eight months after the announcement of the D200, Nikon have surprised a few people with the announcement of the new Nikon D80, a successor to the very popular D70/70s, a camera that is a step up from their entry level D50.The D80 seems to have the same image and LCD quality as the D200 but with the feel, speed and handling of the D70. The camera has features such as 10.2 megapixel, 2.5" high-resolution LCD and 3D color matrix metering II.
One of the coolest features is that the Nikon D80 only takes .18 seconds to power up and the shutter's minimal release lag time of approx 80 milliseconds delivers instant response do that you'll never miss an important shot again.
