The Olympus Stylus 750

The new Olympus Stylus 750 Digital Camera is quite impressive for a compact camera with its 7.1 megapixel CCD, 5x optical zoom, and Dual Image stabilization and Digital Image stabilization to reduce the chance of blur even for your most challenging shots.

The Stylus 750 is the thinnest camera in its class to have a 5x optical zoom which is great for amazing close ups without the need to carry a huge digital SLR everywhere you go. The pocket camera is weatherproof so is perfect for days on the beach, on the ski slopes, or that rainy soccer game.

This camera also features a 2.5" LCD display and shutter speed of up to 4 seconds in Night Scene mode. The camera also has an internal memory of 17MB so you will probably be needing that extra xD-Picture Card. One downside to this camera is there is no way to manually set the exposure, but for casual shooters this may not be a big issue. So if you're looking for a high class compact camera with similar picture quality to a DSLR then this camera is for you.
