The Sanyo Xacti CG6

The new Sanyo Xacti CG6 was released at Photokina and for such a small camera it packs quite a punch. Now right away the most noticeable difference about this camera is that is features a vertically oriented design as opposed to a horizontal design. The reason Sanyo has gone with this design is that this camera takes video as well as photos and this design is easier to hold for 80 minutes of record time.

The camera features a 6.37 megapixel CCD and a 5x optical zoom. The camera also captures in low-noise with a 9x sensitivity and has a very nice anti-shake feature that can determine the difference between hand trembles and intentional movements. The camera records video as MPEG-4 format and makes it very easy to edit video captured and viewed on the 2n5" LCD display.
