Samsung Digital Camera Sends Pics Wirelessly
We will soon be able to transmit pictures to the internet wirelessly thanks to Samsung Techwin leading the way.Samsung Techwin is Korea’s primary maker of digital cameras. A Samsung Techwin official stated, "Together with SK Telecom, we are to debut a product early next year with a universal serial bus (USB) slot where a communication `dongle' can be installed. After incorporating the dongle into the camera, people will be able to transmit pictures on the spot to Web sites via SK Telecom's next-generation mobile network.''

Problems With Sony's Cybershots
Sony has some flawed cameras on the market. Some of their Cyber-shot compact digital cameras on sale from September 2003 to January 2005 may show distorted images or they may not function at all. Four thousand out of 1 million models may be in need of repair. Not to mention they found condensation vulnerabilities in their other digital and video cameras. Not a good thing, huh?
Interestingly enough, Sony does not see a significant profit loss from these large number of defects.

Canon PowerShot G7 Review
Seemingly second class to its admirable Canon G6 predecessor, the Canon G7’s lackluster look and features are giving its G series generation a bad rap. Though lighter and smaller, its dark, formal design lacks any kind of hand grip and the LCD has no information or status panel. Unlike the G6 the G7 has a slower zoom lens and no longer has resolution screen vari-angleTo its credit it carries the traditional G series features like, SLR-like functionality in a solid, compact body and high-end features such as fast lenses and external flash capability. Although the G7 does come with the latest new Digic III processor face detection and image stabilization feature, 10 mega pixels, longer (but slower) zoom lens, wider ISO range, better macro mode, enhanced movie mode, and additional scene modes.

iLoupe Microscopic Digital Camera
Aven has magnified it’s presence with the iLoupe, a colorful, fun looking camera that’s ready for real business. This cute contrivance is a digital camera with a microscope add-on. “A microscope add-on??” You echo? Yep! You read it right.
This digicam was designed for forensic investigators, other field professionals, or anyone who need to peruse something pretty darn close. It can capture images at an intensifying 60x to 150x (minuscule, tiny barely seen by the naked eye). It’s available, but you have to call Aven for the price.

Hi-Tech Digital Camera Only On eBay
This digital camera is selling like hotcakes, but only on eBay (for such a ‘hi-tech’ gadget, you gotta wonder why). This two-in-one film and digital camera has a 35mm motorized compact camera with auto-rewind and power-rewind combined, with a digital cam that takes 26 high resolution pictures and 99 at low.
For a less than mediocre device, it’s a decent stocking stuffer at $38 (£19.99).

Fisher Price's Digital Camera
This holiday season it looks like one of the hottest selling digital cameras will be one with the lowest amount of features, the new Fisher Price camera. Thats right a digital camera is now a child's toy. The Kid-Tough Digital camera not only will take pictures, but offers good resolution. Up to 60 pictures can be viewed at once and can be uploaded via a USB cable. If that’s not enough, this camera can be stepped on, thrown, chewed and abused in any child-like way and still perform.
Recommended for kids ages 3 to 7 years old. This tough device is going for $70.
