Samsung Digital Camera Sends Pics Wirelessly

We will soon be able to transmit pictures to the internet wirelessly thanks to Samsung Techwin leading the way.

Samsung Techwin is Korea’s primary maker of digital cameras.  A Samsung Techwin official stated, "Together with SK Telecom, we are to debut a product early next year with a universal serial bus (USB) slot where a communication `dongle' can be installed.  After incorporating the dongle into the camera, people will be able to transmit pictures on the spot to Web sites via SK Telecom's next-generation mobile network.''

The thumb-sized USB dongle is a modem that hooks up various digital device in order to connect to SK Telecom’s high-speed downlink packet access (HSDPA) network.
