Olympus FE-200
The Olympus FE-200 stands out in its line of “easy and fun” FE digital cameras. The 6 megapixel camera has a wide range angle (28mm), 5x optical zoom lens and a 2.5 inch LCD. Its stockier frame (thicker than the FE-190) accommodates the larger lens on this model. Though it can handle a wider angle than most of its competition, this digicam operates pretty sluggishly. Start up time is also lethargic, along with navigating the menu and scanning images. The FE-200 ranges anywhere from $179 TO $250.

Canon PowerShot A710 IS Review
dpreview has just published their review of the new Canon PowerShot A710 IS, the successor to the A700.
Quote: "Aside from a design facelift and a few feature tweaks the biggest - and most welcome - change is that the new model adds optical image stabilization, something we bemoaned the lack of on the A700. There's also an extra million pixels and the usual A series mix of manual and automatic features."

Voigtlaender Unveils Unimpressive Vito 65
It almost seems as if Voigtlaender got pretty bored with its DM6365 camera’s name and decided to slap a less impressive name on the front of it: Vito 65.Even less impressive are the specifications, as they still hold true to the old DM6365. The same old 3.48- x 2.17- x 0.75-inch enclosure; featuring a played-out six-megapixel CCD sensor, 2.5-inch LCD monitor, 32MB of internal storage, SD slot, 30fps movie mode, 3x optical zoom, built-in red-eye reduction, USB 2.0 connectivity, and PictBridge compatibility.
The asking price is an exaggerated $265, but the price they’ve chosen, nevertheless. Needless to say I won't be asking for this camera for Christmas.

Fuji Finepix S600fd Review
Just in time for Christmas the Fujifilm S600fd has just hit the store shelves. Noted features are the 6.4mp, 1/1.7” Super CCD sensor used to wide acclaim in the F30 and F31fd and offering ‘full resolution’ shooting at up to ISO 3200. It also has a new hardware based face detection system and a useful 28-300mm zoom range.
This all-inclusive suite packs photographic tools, raw mode, electronic viewfinder, 2.5" screen and VGA movie mode - all in a package that costs less than half what you'd pay for a budget SLR with a similar lens - and weighs less too. Other features to note are Real photo process II; fixed 10.7x (28-300mm equivalent) optical zoom lens with twist barrel control; intelligent flash; manual, shutter and aperture-priority and program exposure modes; jpeg and raw file formats; high speed shooting mode with a shutter lag of just 0.035 seconds; high resolution 2.5 inch LCD screen; TV-quality VGA movie recording of 30 frames per second with sound; and PictBridge™ compatible for direct printing without a PC, all for $400 US or £$300 UK.

Hello Kitty Camera
Not sure which market KFE Japan is targeting, but one thing’s for sure this feline bejeweled camera caught our attention. At first glance we’d figure this embellished digicam was fashioned for the much younger generation until we checked out the specs and price. The Tink Pink X Hello Kitty DC571 is quite comparable to the DC500 sporting features like 5 megapixels, 32MB of internal memory, and a SD storage slot. It displays photos on a 2.4-inch LCD, and a somewhat choppy VGA video at 20fps (or QVGA at 22fps). It also supports USB 2.0 opposite of the 1.1 action on the previous model.
After checking out the price of 24,000 yen ($217 US), we cancelled out the youth market and decided hands down on the… well, eccentric crowd.

Casio Exilim EX-770
Casio has produced a camera that does big things! Sporting 7 megapixels, this condense-sized digicam is extremely stylish and comes in an array of colors. This easily portable camera comes with functions that are commonly used, such as flash and shooting modes, ISO sensitivity and white balance adjustment and are made available as shortcuts on a vertical menu that sits over the LCD. The LCD is bright and clear, and has a great photo preview feature. The EX-770 offers a variety of features for sharpening your photos and is excellent for experienced photographers; while the automatic mode offers fast adjustments to the shot making this a great camera for beginners.
On a negative note, zoom in and try to aim at your shot and you’ll find that slow refresh rates makes the screen somewhat ambiguous. Also, 800 ISO sensitivity means that very distant night shots aren’t always apparent. At a little of 200 (EUR) or 267 (USD), you’ve caught it at a good deal.

Canon Powershot A700 Review
Digicam Review has just published their review of the Canon Powershot A700.
Quote: "I've been using the Canon Powershot A700 for nearly 6 months now and taken thousands of photos with it - this camera has consistently produced excellent results and been able to take great photos in every situation, including WWE shows! Image quality is excellent with great colours, and the 6x optical zoom lens is an excellent feature, especially as the camera is not much bigger than a lot of other 3x optical zoom lens cameras."
