Lecia M8 Fixes
Having been made very much aware of some imaging issues with the M8, Leica has announced their ‘action plan’ for the defective Leica M8 cameras. First, for the Banding and Mirror/Ghost Images, they have developed and tested a powerful upgrade – free of charge – to eliminate any reoccurrence.Leica will offer special screw-on type UV/IR filters for all Leica M lenses, and the combination of a thin absorption filter on the sensor and a screw-on interference filter on the lens for the M’s compact build. Additionally, every Leica M8 customer will receive a basic kit of two UV/IR filters with diameters – free of charge.
