DXG USA Launches Low Feature, Low Cost Camcorder

DXG USA launched a new digital camcorder today that has specs that don’t really excite, but the price makes the camcorder much more appealing. The camera has no optical zoom, but does sport 4x digital zoom.
No tapes are used, video is recorded to a measly 32MB of internal memory, but a SD card slot is available so you can record longer. Video is recorded at 640 x 480 and you view your subject on a 2” LCD display that flips out of the side of the camera.
The recording format is MPEG-4, AVI. This camera probably won’t interest most users based on the specs alone, but when you consider the price which is only $149 it becomes much more attractive. This would make for a great first camera for kids. Via I4U News
