Kodak EasyShare V1253 HD Pocketcam

kodakesv1253.jpgKodak’s new EasyShare V1253 is the first compact camera with video capture that records in 720p resolution. The little cam has a 3x optical zoom and a 12-megapixel sensor.

The 720p resolution video is also captured at a full 30fps and sports built-in image stabilization. The bad points seem to be a proprietary USB adapter.

The rear screen is an ample 3.2-inch unit that takes up nearly the entire back of the camera. This is good considering the cam has no optic viewfinder. The MSRP is right at $300 and it should be available as you read this.
