Leaf Reveals New AFi Medium Format Digital Camera


leafaficamera.jpgA camera company by the name of Leaf announced the start of a road show in Europe to show off their working prototype of a next generation AFi digital camera for professional photographers. The camera is specifically designed for high-resolution digital photography.

The Leaf AFi product line will include three models including the Leaf AFi 7, Leaf AFi 6, and Leaf AFi 5. The camera provides a 6 x 6 medium format camera solution in a compact ergonomic design.

The AFi series uses the latest Schneider AutoFocus digital lenses and uses 30 megapixel camera backs. A changeable viewfinder system is featured that allows for waist level of 90-degree prism view. The AFi cameras will be available towards the end of 2007 at an undisclosed price.
