Sony DCR-DVD508 Camcorder Reviewed
Sony’s best SD camcorder is currently the DCR-DVD508, which is a replacement for the Sony DCR-DVD505. The new camera has a 10x optical zoom, a 37mm filter diameter for attachments and an aperture range of f/1.8 to 2.9.The camcorder records directly to DVDs and it has an optical viewfinder as well as a LCD screen. Optical image stabilization is featured and the camera can shoot in as little as 1.15 lux.
In the end, Camcorder Info says to skip this camera in favor of the DVD408 camcorder because they noticed issues with the new cameras CMOS sensor.
