Fujifilm finePix F50fd Camera Reviewed

cnetfujicam.jpgCNET posted a review of the Fujifilm FinePix F50fd digital camera today. The camera has a 12-megapixel super CCD sensor, 3x optical zoom and a 2,7-inch LCD.

Sensitivity goes up to ISO1600 at full resolution and 3200 at 6MP and ISO 6400 at 3MP. The camera also includes interesting manual modes for a point-and-shoot including aperture priority mode and shutter priority mode. Face tracking and image stabilization are included as well.

Overall, CNET rated the camera a 7.5 on their scale and sad the bad parts were sluggish between shots, minor noise even at low ISO settings and no full manual control. Good parts were the aperture and shutter priority modes, sensor-shift image stabilization, slim design and face detection.
