Maplin HD Camcorder Announced
Geeks in the UK looking for a nice HD camcorder might want to check out Maplin’s new A47HP HD camcorder. The camcorder records in 720p resolution to SDHC cards and has a 4x digital zoom. The camcorder can also shoot 8MP still images, has a built-in flash and TV out for connecting to a big screen directly.
The LCD screen, which is used for the viewfinder as well, is a 2.4-inch TFT and the flash has red eye reduction as well. The camcorder carries a price of about £199, or $408 USD so it doesn’t seem like such a steal to me.
