DPReview Reviews the Sony A700

sonya700-1.jpgDPReview has posted its review of the Sony Alpha A700 DSLR camera. The A700 includes a wireless remote for the shutter and controlling other functions of the camera.

Other features include ISO 3200-6400 and high ISO noise reduction among others. Pros for the camera include good detail at low sensitivities, HDMI output, included remote and good value for the money.

Cons include high sensitivity noise, no ISO display on viewfinder, poor RAW conversion, no top LCD status display and average auto white balance. The verdict is that the camera is a good performer with good image quality and nice feature set. The camera earned the Highly Recommended award.
